Download Facebook Videos and Reels

Paste a link to a public Facebook video or Reel, including fb.watch links. Pick HD, SD or audio and save it to your phone or computer.

How to download a Facebook video

  1. 01

    Copy the video link

In the Facebook app, open the video or Reel, tap Share, then Copy link. On a computer, you can also copy the address from the browser bar.

  2. 02

    Paste it into SaveArrow

Put the link in the box at the top of this page and tap Download. fb.watch and facebook.com/share links work too.

  3. 03

    Pick HD, SD or audio

Choose the file you want and save it. Only save videos you’re allowed to use, and respect the creator’s rights.

What you can save from Facebook

  • Videos and Reels

Save public Facebook videos and Reels from a regular post link, a short fb.watch link or a facebook.com/share link copied from the app. No need to tidy up the address first.

  • HD and SD files

When Facebook offers both versions of a video, you see an HD and an SD file and choose. Take HD for a sharper picture, or SD for a smaller file.

  • Audio as M4A or MP3

Keep just the sound of a video or Reel: save it as M4A, or as MP3, which SaveArrow converts while it downloads. Handy for talks, lessons and interviews.

  • In your browser, nothing to install

Works in Safari, Chrome and other browsers on iPhone, iPad, Android and computers. It’s free, with no account and no sign-up, and SaveArrow doesn’t store the videos you save.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download Facebook Reels?

Yes. Copy the Reel’s link with Share → Copy link and paste it here. Public Reels are saved as MP4 video, and you can also save their sound as M4A or MP3.

Does SaveArrow work with fb.watch links?

Yes. Short fb.watch links and facebook.com/share links copied from the app both work, as do regular facebook.com video and Reel links, as long as the video is public.

Can I download Facebook videos in HD?

Yes, when Facebook offers an HD version of the video. You see the HD and SD options before you save; if only one version exists, only that one is shown.

Where do downloaded Facebook videos go on iPhone and Android?

On iPhone, open Safari’s Downloads or the Downloads folder in the Files app. On Android, check your browser’s Downloads or the Files app. From there you can move the video to Photos or your gallery.

Why can’t I download a Facebook video?

Only public videos can be saved. Private videos, videos in groups, posts that only some people can see, live streams and deleted videos aren’t supported. If a public video fails, copy a fresh link and try again.

Is it free? Do you keep the videos?

It’s free and needs no account or app. Videos go from Facebook to your device without being stored by SaveArrow, we don’t keep a history of your links, and download links expire after 10 minutes.
