How do I save a Pinterest video to my phone?

Copy the Pin’s link in the Pinterest app, paste it here and save the MP4. On iPhone it goes to Safari’s Downloads or the Files app; on Android, to your browser’s Downloads or the Files app. From there, move it to Photos or your gallery.

Can I download photos or image Pins?

No, this tool handles video Pins only. Pins that contain only photos aren’t supported, so make sure the Pin you copy plays a video.

What format and quality will the video be?

Videos are saved as MP4 in the qualities Pinterest provides for that Pin; the options you see depend on what was uploaded. You can also choose MP3 to keep just the sound.

Why won’t my Pinterest video download?

Pins on secret boards, private Pins and deleted Pins can’t be saved, and neither can Pins that are only photos. Check that the video Pin is public, copy its link again and retry.
