Twitch Clip Downloader: Download Twitch Clips as MP4

Paste a link to a public Twitch clip and save it as MP4, or keep just the audio as MP3. This tool saves clips only, not live streams or full broadcasts.

How to download a Twitch clip

  1. 01

    Copy the clip link

Open the clip on Twitch, tap Share and choose Copy link. On a computer, you can also copy the clip’s address, such as clips.twitch.tv/… or twitch.tv/channel/clip/…, from the browser bar.

  2. 02

    Paste it here

Paste the clip link into the field above and tap Download. SaveArrow checks that it’s a clip and shows the files you can save.

  3. 03

    Save the MP4 or MP3

Choose the video or the MP3 and save the file. Keep to clips you’re allowed to use, and respect the streamer’s rights.

What you can save from Twitch

  • Clips as MP4

Each public clip is saved as an MP4 file, a format most phones and computers open, so you can rewatch a highlight offline or keep it in your gallery.

  • Clip audio as MP3

Want a funny line or a reaction without the picture? Save the clip’s sound as MP3. It’s converted on the fly while it downloads, so there’s nothing extra to install.

  • Both clip link types work

Paste a clips.twitch.tv link or a twitch.tv/channel/clip link from a channel page; SaveArrow accepts both. Copy it with the Share button so the link isn’t cut off.

  • Free, in your browser

No account, no sign-up and no app: it works in Safari, Chrome and other browsers on iPhone, Android and computers. SaveArrow doesn’t store clips, and download links expire after 10 minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download a Twitch live stream or VOD?

No. SaveArrow saves public clips only. Live streams, full past broadcasts (VODs) and subscriber-only content aren’t supported.

What format are downloaded Twitch clips?

Clips are saved as MP4, and you can choose MP3 if you only want the sound. The video options depend on what Twitch provides for that clip.

Where do Twitch clips go on my phone?

On iPhone, saved clips are in Safari’s Downloads list or in the Files app’s Downloads folder. On Android, look in your browser’s Downloads or the Files app, then move the clip to your gallery if you like.

Why doesn’t my Twitch link work?

Make sure it’s a link to a clip, not to a channel, a stream or a past broadcast. Subscriber-only and deleted clips can’t be saved either; copy the clip link again from Share and retry.

Can I download someone else’s Twitch clip?

SaveArrow works with any public clip link, but the clip still belongs to the streamer. Use it only in ways you’re allowed to, and don’t repost it as your own.

Is the Twitch clip downloader free?

Yes, it’s free, with no account and nothing to install. SaveArrow doesn’t keep the clips or a history of your links, and each download link works for 10 minutes.
