Spotify Podcast Downloader: Save Episodes as MP3

Paste a Spotify podcast episode link. SaveArrow finds the same episode in the podcast’s public feed and saves that file, usually MP3. Podcasts only, not music.

How to download a Spotify podcast episode

  1. 01

    Copy the episode link

In Spotify, open the podcast episode, tap the Share icon, then Copy link. Both open.spotify.com/episode/… links and spotify.link short links work.

  2. 02

    Paste it above

Paste the link into the box above or tap Paste. SaveArrow looks for the same episode in the podcast’s public feed, matching its title and length.

  3. 03

    Save the episode

Tap the file to download it, usually an MP3. Look for it in your browser’s Downloads or the Files app on a phone, or in the Downloads folder on a computer.

How Spotify podcast downloads work

  • From the podcast’s public feed

Spotify’s own audio can’t be downloaded. Most podcasts on Spotify are also published openly through a podcast feed, so SaveArrow finds the same episode there and saves that public file.

  • Matched by title and length

SaveArrow compares the episode’s title and length, so the file you get is the episode you copied, not another one from the same show. It’s usually an MP3 from the podcast’s public feed.

  • Podcasts only

This page is for podcast episodes. Music (songs, albums, playlists), audiobooks and Spotify-exclusive shows aren’t supported, and the video part of video podcasts isn’t saved.

  • Free in your browser

No app, no account and no sign-up. Use Safari, Chrome or another browser on iPhone, iPad, Android or a computer. SaveArrow doesn’t store episodes, and download links expire after 10 minutes.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download a podcast episode from Spotify?

Open the episode in Spotify, tap Share, then Copy link. Paste it into SaveArrow, which finds the same episode in the podcast’s public feed, and save the file.

Can I download songs or playlists from Spotify?

No. SaveArrow only handles podcast episodes. Songs, albums, playlists and audiobooks aren’t supported, and SaveArrow doesn’t download any audio from Spotify itself.

Why can’t SaveArrow find my episode?

Some shows are exclusive to Spotify and have no public feed, so there’s no other copy to save. It also only works with episode links, not links to a whole show, a song or an audiobook.

Is the file the same episode I hear on Spotify?

It’s the same episode, taken from the podcast’s public feed instead of from Spotify. SaveArrow identifies it by title and length, and the file is usually an MP3.

Where is the downloaded episode on iPhone or Android?

On iPhone, the MP3 is in the Files app, in the Downloads folder (or tap the downloads icon in Safari). On Android, open the browser’s Downloads or your Files app. Computers save it to the Downloads folder.

Can I re-upload a podcast I downloaded?

Podcasts belong to their creators, so keep downloads for your own listening and only share or reuse what you have permission to use.
