How to save TikTok videos without the watermark
When you save a video with TikTok’s own Save video button, TikTok places its logo and the creator’s username on top of the picture. This guide shows how to save a public TikTok video without that watermark, using SaveArrow in your browser on iPhone, Android or a computer.
Why SaveArrow’s files have no watermark
On its website, TikTok plays videos in a web player from a clean stream that has no watermark. SaveArrow saves that same stream, so the file you get has no logo or username stamped over it. The video isn’t re-encoded: you get the quality TikTok serves.
SaveArrow is free and runs in the browser, so there is no app to install and no account or sign-up. It works with public videos only.
On iPhone or iPad
- Open the video in the TikTok app, tap Share, then Copy link.
- Open Safari and go to savearrow.com.
- Paste the link into the box and tap Download. If a security check appears, tick the box.
- Tap the quality you want. If Safari asks, tap Download.
- Open the Files app and find the video in the Downloads folder. To add it to Photos, open it, tap Share, then Save Video.
On Android
- In the TikTok app, tap Share on the video, then Copy link.
- Open Chrome or another browser and go to savearrow.com.
- Paste the link and tap Download.
- Choose a quality to save the file.
- Find the video in your browser’s Downloads or in your file manager app. Many gallery apps also show it in a Download album.
On a computer
- On tiktok.com, open the video and copy its link from the Share menu, or copy the address from the address bar.
- Go to savearrow.com, paste the link and click Download.
- Choose a file. It is saved to your Downloads folder.
Short links that start with vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com work as well, so you can paste a link someone sent you in a chat.
Choosing the quality
SaveArrow lists every quality TikTok offers for that video, up to 1080p when the creator uploaded it in that quality. Each option shows its resolution and file size, so you can choose between a sharper file and a smaller one.
Some HD files use the H.265 codec, which a few older Windows and Android devices can’t play. When an H.264 version is available, it is listed as well; pick it if the H.265 file doesn’t play on your device, or on the device you plan to watch it on.
Sound, photos and subtitles
If you only need the audio, SaveArrow offers the video’s original sound in two forms: the file TikTok provides, usually M4A, and an MP3 version.
Photo mode posts, where a creator shares a slideshow of photos with music, are supported too. Each photo is listed separately so you can save the ones you want, and the slideshow’s sound can be saved as well.
When a video has captions, you can also save the subtitles as an .srt file.
Respect the creator
A video without the watermark no longer shows who made it, so handle it with care. Only save videos you have the right to use, such as your own or ones you have permission to keep. Don’t repost other people’s videos as your own, and follow TikTok’s terms when you share anything you have saved.
