Saving Audioboom episodes

  • Works from posts links

On Audioboom, each episode has its own page at audioboom.com/posts/… That’s the link SaveArrow needs: one post, one episode, saved as the file the podcast publishes.

  • Original audio, usually MP3

The download is the episode’s own audio file, not a recording of the stream. Most of the time it’s an MP3; if not, the MP3 option converts it while it downloads.

  • Picks up where it stopped

If a long episode stops halfway because the network drops, the download can be resumed instead of restarting. Fresh download links last 10 minutes, so paste again if yours expired.

  • Nothing to install or sign up for

SaveArrow is free and works in the browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and Mac. Episodes go straight from Audioboom to your device; SaveArrow doesn’t store them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download an episode from Audioboom?

Copy the episode’s audioboom.com/posts/… link, paste it into SaveArrow and tap the audio file. It saves to your device like any other download.

Can I download premium Audioboom episodes?

No. Premium and other paid episodes can’t be saved, and deleted episodes are no longer available. Public episodes that play for anyone on Audioboom work.

Which format will the Audioboom download be?

It’s the audio file the podcast publishes, which is usually MP3. An MP3 option is always listed too, and it’s the same file when the original is MP3.

Where is the episode after I download it?

Computers save it to Downloads. On iPhone it’s in the Files app under Downloads, and on Android in the browser’s downloads or the Download folder.

Why does SaveArrow say my Audioboom link isn’t supported?

SaveArrow needs a link to a single post, the audioboom.com/posts/… page of an episode. Links to a channel or a search page won’t work, so open the episode first.

Is it OK to reuse an episode I downloaded?

Episodes belong to the podcasters who made them. Download them for your own listening; if you want to reuse one, check with whoever published it first.
